Jean-Philippe Couture, Founder & CEO As the founder of Ingenio, JP is not just your everyday startup founder. He has years of experience as a corporate and tax partner with both a large national law firm and a “big 4” professional firm where he started their Canadian corporate law practice.

He is a visionary, thought leader in legal innovation and a former member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Legal Futures Initiative, created to focus on the future legal marketplace. He founded Ingenio with the view of improving the delivery of corporate legal services for the benefit of both clients and lawyers.

Through his unique blend of legal experiences, JP noticed gaps in the tools offered to lawyers creating errors, waste of time and resources, which ultimately resulted in persistent and unnecessary pains for legal professionals.

Joey is a visionary technology leader with over a decade of experience in research and software development. From his early days as an engineer to co-founding thriving technology start-ups, Joey's journey has been defined by innovation and a commitment to excellence.

He empowers individuals to embrace their unique learning paths, fostering a world where human creativity and individuality shine. His passion for philosophy, teamwork, and management skills have not only shaped his leadership style but have also driven the success of his ventures.

Joey's technical expertise is noteworthy, encompassing performance optimization, architectural design, and reliability engineering. He has orchestrated the development of scientific applications deployed on massive high-performance computing clusters, as well as micro-service solutions serving millions.
